Pharmacist - Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator, PGY1 required
Jackson Pharmacy Professionals is currently hiring for a Permanent Clinical Coordinator opportunity. This is an ideal position for a PGY1/2 trained pharmacist with strong organizational skills and clinical knowledge. Pharmacist Clinical Coordinator coordinates, manages, and develops clinical services of the department, under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy. We will be reaching out to qualified candidate immediately for interviews as we are looking to fill this position as soon as possible. 

Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator Position Description:
  • Supervises and coordinates the clinical activities of the pharmacy department
  • Serves as PGY1 Residency Program Director
  • Coordinates on-site clinical activities of the College of Pharmacy clinical faculty
  • Must maintain a positive leadership role within the department
  • Maintains an active clinical services for a select patient population; includes rounds with pharmacy staff & house staff to service as an educational resource to the team
  • Coordinates drug utilization program
  • Assists in performance evaluation of pharmacists, residents, and students
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field of clinical pharmacy
  • Precepts pharmacy students
  • Other duties as assigned
Pharmacist Requirements:
  • PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Registration as a pharmacist in Missouri in good standing
  • Completion of PGY1 Pharmacy Residency from an accredited program
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or clinical coordinator experience, preferred
  • BPS certification, preferred
  • Must be able to maintain positive relationships with staff, faculty, student, general public, and university officials
